Hi everyone - in the flurry of rescuing the mama & babies, Ruthie & Rollie & Clara were almost forgotten... they need a rescue commitment by 9 a.m. Sunday and a rescue to step up for them ASAP. Rollie is just a pup, and Clara has been there too long.... my guess is her owners did not come for her even if she had a chip. Please let me know ASAP if you can save them - I may be able to find a puller... but I need to know early morning to set it up. Northern CA: LAKE COUNTY ANIMAL CONTROL URGENT STARVING BOXER NEEDS RESCUE ASAP
THIS BOXER IS ABOUT 3 YEARS OF AGE AND CAME IN STARVING. HE IS ALERT AND WAGGING HIS TAIL, YES, HE HAS A NATURAL TAIL. HE HAS BLOOD IN HIS STOOL FROM HIS EMACIATED CONDITION. THE SHELTER IS GIVING HIM SUBQ FLUIDS FOR NOW, BUT WOULD PREFER THAT HE BE RESCUED ASAP. HE IS FRIENDLY, LOVES OTHER DOGS AND A SOCIALLY NICE DOG. HE IS NEGATIVE FOR HEARTWORM, BUT HE NEEDS TLC WHICH THE SHELTER CAN'T PROVIDE AND HE IS ON THE EUTHANASIA LIST DUE TO HIS MEDICAL CONDITION. HE WON'T BE PUT UP FOR ADOPTION SINCE HE IS NOT HEALTHY. IF YOU CAN HELP HIM, PLEASE LET SARA OR MYSELF KNOW. EMAIL IS BEST SINCE THEY ARE SHORT STAFFED.

I am sending out a rescue plea for this poor old guy who is sitting at Lake County Animal Control. . He is super sweet, the owners said he was 22, but we don't know for sure. If he is, he looks amazing for his age. He deserves to not have his life end in a shelter, and we would love to see him make it out... "Marley" was lost on December 29th while his owner was in Indiana for the holiday. Marley escaped from his dog sitter's home in Hollywood at 5225 De Longpre (just north of Fountain between Western and Normandie). There are posters up everywhere in the area. Please CROSSPOST this (with the attached picture) to anyone you know that lives in the Hollywood / West Hollywood area or works in rescues or shelters. THANK YOU!!

Marley, our beige border terrier mix lost by our dog sitter 12/29, is still missing. Beige / tan, 15 lbs., slender, floppy ears, sad eyes, small beard, and very scared. Wearing blue collar with tag. Escaped from her apartment on De Longpre near Sunset and Western.
Confirmed that he crossed Sunset at Wilton at 9 a.m. 1/1 and headed north on Western. Reported sighting at Franklin and Wilton at 4:30 p.m. on 1/1. If you live near there and see him in the morning (or any time), PLEASE call 310-272-6058 (Rick) or 310-272-6394 (Amy). The bright neon signs all over the place are for Marley.
