The lost doggie is a female basset hound. I do not know the owner, Bob - just forwarded the e-mail I received in order to spread the word. His number is 818-731 0633, and the dog was lost from the Coldwater Cyn and 101 area (Kling Street and Goodland). I don't know any further details, except that the dog is shy but sweet, and is red and white with freckles. Thanks for caring!

She is a sweet girl. She may be a bit skittish, but is very friendly and WILL NOT BITE. She is not wearing her collar.

Ok ladies,
This one is a keeper. Very young lady approx. 10-12 months old, all shots, spayed and housebroken. She was rescued in September by a man who has 3 very small dogs who kept arguing with "Sadie" She finally had enough and argued back last night! Now he says she has to go cause he has had his dogs for many years. She is the most precious docile little girl with a great personaltiy. I have until next Friday and then ???? Please help this dog is not pound material, she is actually one of the best dogs I've come across in a very long time! Please distribute to all asap!!!

Hi Friends,

Can ANYONE help this poor girl or does anyone know someone else who can? This one just breaks my heart maybe because she looks so much like the Dutch Shepherd puppy I am fostering right now who was in a similar situation, at the shelter with an injury she acquired by the adoptive family that was dumping/returning her! Now thanks to MuttMatchLA who rescued my little foster (you may remember her as the Peekaboo puppy from South LA) she had her surgery and is living in my loving home where she plays and walks with my dogs and LOVES my 2 year old daughter! My little Dutch Shepherd foster is sweet, loving, extremely intelligent, guards my little one and is just an incredible dog-which I am sure this little girl Bridget is as well. Can anyone help Bridget???

I know it is the weekend, but this puppy is only 8 months old and is on the euthanasia list for the end of the day. BARCS is totally out of space and this poor dog has old bite wounds all over his face making him unadoptable by Baltimore city law..his only option is your rescue!!!!

Here is Charleston's story:
One day someone may have cared about this dog, but that day was long long ago. Charleston was found by animal control officers in Baltimore city. He was tied to a fence in a vacant yard. He was malnourished, neglected and pretty beat-up. The animal control officer thinks that this dog may have been used to train (use as bait at one point), but we can't say for sure.

Charleston is an outgoing, eclectic 8 month old puppy that just wants human affection. He will be euthanized if I can't find a rescue by the end of the day. He was supposed to be euthanized the other day, but the staff is so in love with him, and just can't come to terms with the fact that he isn't able to go-up for adoption. He is young and loving!

Be his hero. Please??????

Meet Trump, a three year old, male Pom who appeared at our shelter as a stray. We believe he is about 3 years old. Trump is up to date on shots and housebroken. He will be altered and chipped upon adoption. Due to his stray status, we do not have background info so we will only adopt him out to an adult home.
