RESCUE & PLEDGES NEEDED ASAP! Read the story! Do the math! Dogs don’t bite after 7 years out of the blue! Normal humans do NOT kick a dog unconscious!
Sammy’s situation and story are as dire as dire gets. We have a handful of days to find a rescue to save his life, and that’s it. Sammy is a purebred seven-year-old German Shepherd, who has lived and loved the same family for all of his life. Sammy had an incident earlier this year where he protected one of his owners and caused a bite for the very first time. Unfortunately, instead of working with him and addressing the situation that happened, he was reprimanded by being physically kicked and hurt until he was unconscious. He is now being kenneled in a crate, and is only allowed out to potty, and then is put right back in.
The owners have reached out for help to a few rescues, but none have been able to assist in taking him in. It’s now come to the point where he will be put to sleep if he can not find a rescue THIS WEEK.
SAMMY LOVES other dogs and people!!
