This poor senior girl is 12 years old and PREGNANT because her selfish owners wanted to breed her🤬
She is now at the shelter and will be on her way to Paw Works ASAP so are in desperate need to find her a suitable foster home to aide her in her pregnancy, labor and aftercare. We are horrified by people’s careless actions time and time again, putting animals lives at risk. When will end?! Fortunately for this little lady she will never have to endure this again, but in the mean time, we need an immediate foster that can shelter her and her soon to be puppies.
Due to her being older, we are unsure of the extent of her medical needs or if there will be any complications. We are hoping for the best but want to prepare for worst case scenario. If you’re not a candidate to foster, please consider donating towards her care 🙏

What is required of a foster?
- MUST live in Ventura County (no exceptions)
- Must have an isolated area in the home where fosters can be kept away from all personal animals.
-Must have the sole intention of fostering NOT adopting as we would like to keep fosters in order to continue our life saving mission.
- Must be able to transport fosters to set appointments at our rescue and our vets.
If the above criteria sounds like you, please email Diane@pawworks.org with “Audra” as the subject and include your best contact number in the body 🙏
