Dear Friends:Can anyone save "Pappy" (a.k.a. "Boney")? Pappy is a German Shepard of rare quality. He's a gentle soul, a tender heart, a wise father, and a rock to depend on in your time of need. Pappy came into the shelter sad and broken; that is, physically emaciated and broken in spirit. Pappy was surrendered after giving everything he had his entire life to the only parents he ever knew. In a blink of an eye, all of that was gone. All those years of loyalty and love meant nothing when his owners took him to the shelter and left him be. And judging by his boney underweight condition, Pappy's love was clearly not reciprocated. He had been a neglected dog. No reason was given for his surrender and none can be fathomed. Pappy is flawless. He's just a beautiful soul inside and out. If anything was to stand out most about Pappy it would be his beautiful heart; a heart that will always put his own welfare aside and give you all he's got to make YOU happy. Make no mistake, Pappy is hurting inside, you can see the sadness in his eyes, but when he's with you, all of that disappears. Pappy will put all of it aside just to make YOU happy and make YOU the center of attention. It's his calling. Pappy will smile to cheer you up and put his paw on your knee to assure you that you'll never be alone. He'll never let you down. Pappy smiles at the mere sight of a friendly face. And judging by the lines of wisdom on his forehead, he must have been someone's rock and reliable pal all of his life. Anyone that "saves" Pappy will in turn be "saved" by his beautiful spirit. A rescue for Pappy will be a mutual rescue. I pray that Pappy finds his angel ............ChrisAs time is of the essence, if you can save Pappy, please contact immediately below:Angelica InfanteLife Saving LiaisonFoster Program Coordinator(213) 238-4313East Valley District14409 Vanowen StVan Nuys, CA 91405(818) 756 - 9323"PAPPY" (a.k.a.
